Feliz Fin de Semana Primaveral!! Have a great Spring Weekend!

Pues en México nos vamos de puente, es decir el fin de semana se hace largo porque el 21 de Marzo no trabajamos, no porque sea el inicio de la primavera sino porque es el natalicio de un ilustre personaje de la historia (Benito Juárez) pero que bien que coincida la fecha con la llegada de la primavera... así que este fin me voy a visitar a mis papás, tengo una boda donde veré a mi mejor amiga que tengo 1 año que no veo y a disfrutar a toda mi familia. Well In Mexico the 21st of March is festive, not because the Spring arrives but because it's a National Holiday, an important president was born on that day (Benito Juárez) and I'm very happy we get to celebrate both... anyway I will go to visit my parents, family and friends to Aguascalientes and I will attend a Wedding! The other day I went to the beauty shop and found this little nice product of Givenchy: the Hydra Sparkling Magic Lip & Cheek Balm's, I love how it looks and feels on the lips, I haven't tried it yet on the cheeks but it has a lovely pink color!

El otro día me hicieron un facial en Givenchy y ya me habían puesto este producto que se llama Hydra Sparkling Magic Lip & Cheek Balm's, la verdad me había gustado mucho como deja los labios desde la otra vez que me lo pusieron y me decidí a comprarlo esta vez. Me encanta y sirve para las mejillas también pero aún no lo uso así. Tiene un color rosa divino.

Did you saw this movie already? The Waitress is a lovely movie about food, love and strenght, Keri Russel is just so great in this movie and the hole story is beautiful. And the pies!!! OMG I want to eat all of them.

Ya vieron esta película? en inglés se llama "La mesera" pero en español (México) le pusieron "Recetas de Amor", es una película hermosa, si pueden rentarla este fin les va a gustar mucho, trata sobre la fuerza de las mujeres, el amor y la comida!!! es una linda historia... a mí en lo personal me gusta mucho.

El Pueblo Japonés .... The Japanese People

Me duele muchísimo lo que está pasando en Japón en estos días, la devastación que estan sufriendo por el terremoto, el Tsunami y la emergencia de las plantas Nucleares es de verdad una tragedia. Yo en lo personal he viajado a este país por trabajo y puedo decirles que es un lugar mágico y hermoso. Desde su arquitectura, su comida, su gente, sus costumbres y sus paisajes. Estuve 4 veces en este país gracias a mi anterior trabajo, en Narita en donde está el aeropuerto y en Tokyo. A pesar de no hablar una gota de japonés, supe darme a entender para conocer algunos destinos turísticos y moverme en el transporte público y algo que se me quedó muy grabado de estos viajes fue la disposición de la gente para ayudarme a pesar de yo no hablar japonés y ellos no hablar inglés. No nos queda más que esperar a que las cosas retomen su rumbo como todo y a darle ánimos y la mayor cantidad de ayuda tanto moral como económica posible a este pueblo que ahora nos necesita.

I'm so sad about the events that are happening right now in Japan. I have a special love for this country since I've been 4 times for work in Tokyo and Narita (the city where the international airport is) I was really impressed of all the gorgeous and amazing architecture, food, writing, art, way of life and landscapes they have. It's such a beautiful and ancient culture. In this short trips I had to Japan I realized you don't need to speak the language of the country you are visiting if the people there make you feel like home. I had great experiences and I'm really worry about all the devastation they are suffering because of the earthquake, the tsunami and the nuclear emergency. I hope everything will be restore and that many people around the globe help them with help of any kind, moral or economic.

Guía de productos verdes en México (Greenpeace)

Greenpeace México lanza su lista de productos comerciales que estan libres de transgénicos y los que no. Con la muerte de Rita Guerrero el viernes pasado (la cantante del grupo de Rock Santa Sabina) de cáncer de seno y después de escuchar la entrevista con algunos de los miembros de su banda en la radio hoy por la mañana, me pusieron a pensar de verdad en la cantidad de mujeres que mueren debido al cáncer de seno que son muy jóvenes, cosa que hace 10 años era impensable. ¿Será en verdad por toda la cantidad de porquerías que comemos? Así que yo me siento responsable en pasarles esta pág. de internet donde podrán encontrar los productos cuyas empresas certificaron para Greenpeace que no estan usando transgénicos en su elaboración y ahora que vayan al super por la comida podrán escoger en favor de su salud.

Via Recreativa Guadalajara (Recreational Path Guadalajara)

Como ya les había platicado en otro post en Guadalajara y Zapopan todos los domingos de 8 am a 2 pm se cierran calles principales a los carros para que las personas puedan andar en bici, en patines, patineta, caminar o pasear a sus perros. Así que este domingo me di una vuelta para caminar un poco. La vez pasada me fui en bici pero ahora decidí caminar. Es mucho más pesado! empecé en los Arcos de Guadalajara y terminé en el Expiatorio pero todavía tenía que regresar por mi carro! la verdad es que me gustó mucho este recorrido porque como hay muchos cafés y restaurantes, estos ya estan sacando mesas, sillas y ofrecen desayunos a las personas que van pasando. Mi recorrido fue en Av. Vallarta una calle preciosa con sus casas antigüas y muchos árboles.

I have told you before that in Guadalajara and Zapopan the local governments close important avenues on Sundays to the cars and let people go around in their bikes, skateboards, to walk and take out their dogs. Is a great way to make excercise and visit your city with another perspective. So this Sunday I went for a walk in Av. Vallarta, a gorgeous street full of trees and beautiful houses.

Saturday Look: Ballerina Style

Hola! como les fue de fin de semana! a mi super bien, descansé mucho y ví la película de Mamma Mía! también fui por una nieve a Plaza Andares con mi esposo. Me tomé estas fotos pero no salen muy bien, definitivamente todavía no encuentro la opción adecuada para tomar fotos con poca luz. Me puse el vestido que compré en rebajas con mis eternos leggings. Siempre uso los leggings cuando los vestidos o blusones no son muy largos. Aquí las fotitos. Que tengan una buena semana!

Hello! How was your weekend!? Mine went great, I rest a lot and saw the movie Mamma Mía! I went to Andares Mall to have an ice cream with my husband and this is what I wore, but the pictures are very dark sorry for that, I just can't find the right option to take pictures with no light. I'm wearing my new ballerina dress I bought in the sales with my ever lasting leggings. I wear them when my dresses or skirts are very short. Here are the pics. Wishing you a great week!

Presunto Culpable: Documental mexicano (Presumed Guilty: mexican documentary film)

Hola! pues muchos ya saben que esta película es un gran documental basado en un caso real y que muestra muchísimas deficiencias en el sistema judicial mexicano. Y también ya sabrán que se emitió una orden de amparo por parte de una jueza del DF para que ya no se proyecte en las salas de cine. Y entonces que mi esposo y yo nos lanzamos ayer a las 8pm al cine y LLENO. Tuvimos que esperarnos a la función de las 9 y también estaba LLENO. Tan lleno que nos sentamos en los asientos de adelante. Pero me dio mucho gusto y la verdad el documental está buenisimo, todavía esta en los cines y se mantendrá exhibiendose hasta nuevo aviso como lo explican en la propia página de Presunto Culpable aquí. Así que vayan, apoyen esta causa porque es algo bueno y de mucha calidad. ¡Bien por los realizadores! gracias.

Well this is such a controversial documentary about the justice system in Mexico, it is based in a real case and two days ago a Jugde made an annoucement that with a legal procedure it will be take out from the movie theaters, right now is a hole scandal here in Mexico but the point is that yesterday my husband and I went to see the film at 8 pm and it was FULL. So we had to wait for the next at 9 pm and it was also FULL. This is great and you can check out everything abouth this successfull documentary in the official website which is also in English.

Jeans & Trousers: Zara SS2011

Necesito pantalones y jeans... parece que estoy engordando a pesar de ir al gimnasio... ya hasta me deprimí un poco porque no me está quedando mi ropa y no me trago eso de que estoy reforzando el músculo aunque bueno también me gusta mucho ir a cenar taquitos pero igual iba a los tacos antes... en fin me metí al catálogo de Zara y me gustaron estos, en una vuelta me los voy a comprar! Siii amo los jeans y pantalones oscuros!

I need to buy some new trousers and jeans! it seems that I'm gaining weight, this sucks because I'm going to the gym and everybody is telling me it's because the muscle is becoming stronger... or maybe is because I love to have "tacos" for dinner... anyway I saw all of these in the Zara online catalog and I think I'll buy a few. And as you can notice I love dark jeans and trousers!
