Hola buen día!!! pues el fin de semana ví la película de Sex and the City otra vez y me fijé en esta escena en donde aparece una silla - huevo de rattan divina en donde Carry sale sentada... Además de su sombrero que me encanta y de la vista al mar, este mueble me cautivó... igual me había fijado antes pero no con tanta atención... Este material viene de Asia y es muy flexible y duradero... se utiliza mucho para muebles de exterior pero también luce lindo en el interior...Es caro pero igual podemos encontrar una ganga por ahí... Aquí en México es muy común yo tengo 2 en casa... un buró y un sillón... ¿Les gustan este tipo de muebles?
Hello Everyone!!! On the weekend I saw Sex and the City again and I noticed this lovely egg-chair made from Rattan, an asian fiber very flexible and resistant... I loved it!!! I've never noticed it before and I think is beautiful... This kind of furniture is used a lot in exteriors but it looks lovely also inside our homes... It's expensive but you can always find them on sale...In Mexico we use them a lot I have two at home... ¿Do you like this type of furniture?

I. Need. That. Egg. Chair. Oh, it's like a lifesize beehive or birds nest. I can imagine curling up inside with a laptop or a good book and never emerging again! :)
I've always loved rattan furniture. I recently bought a set pf patio furniture that looks EXACTLY like rattan except. it's a woven plastic. Seriously, you would NEVER know the difference. It's supposed to hold up better outdoors and not get any mildew buildup between the weave.
